An Exercise in Observation 3

  Today I managed to get a couple decent photos of a rainbow in the sky. I thought it would be neat to share them. The pictures did not capture how beautiful it was.

While I had the camera out I took a few shots of the spring flowers in bloom.

Our bleeding heart.

Our peach tree blossoming.

A couple of my wifes plants that sit at the base of our peach tree. I'm not sure what kind they are but, I'm sure my wife could identify them.

This mornings scribble. I have been drawing a lot of girls so, I figured it would be fun to draw a dude. Can you guess who's photo I used for a reference? I does not really look like him but, certain features are similar.

Here is this morning's scribble. I spent a few hours on this one trying to improve my lighting skills..

This evenings scribble... I was trying to do it in the style of Da Vinci. It was a fun exercise. Took me right out of my comfort zone! I did not really come close to sketching as good as Da Vinci but, he is a master and I'm just a guy who likes scribbling! ;)

I'm feeling very stressed out trying to get my Michelle figure released. I have been finding it helpful to scribble in my sketch pad. Here is one from this evening.
