Hawk Eye

My wife just called me into the kitchen to see a hawk that landed outside out window. What a big beautiful bird. Sorry for the blurry pictures. I had to shoot out the window to avoid scaring the hawk. Does anyone know what kind of hawk this is?

More Michelle

Just another update on My Michelle figure. She has been pretty successful thus far. I do keep trying to make improvements to her to make her more versatile. Here is what I am working on now. I have been re-working Michelle's UV maps. I have done the basic re-mapping moving one point at a time to sync up with V4's UVs. It still needs a lot of work. On this one I was trying out Sisterhood Skin from Alfaseed. Nice! :D Wow this opens up a lot of possibilities!

Star Wars - Art Nouveau Puzzle

I just wanted to share a picture of this puzzle I just finished with my son Devin. We where at Barnes and Noble when a metal tin caught my eye. At first I thought it was the work of one of my favorite artist Alphonse Mucha. Upon closer inspection I realized it was actually a Star Wars puzzle set. There are two puzzles in the set. This one and, a Darth Vader puzzle. I decided to buy the puzzle sets because I loved this artwork and thought it would be a good project for my son and I to work on together.
This was the first big puzzle Devin has had the opportunity to work on and, he found it to be very fun. Not to mention, he himself is a huge Star Wars Fan too. Here is the finished puzzle. It consisted of 500 pieces.

I looked up the artist who did this fantastic piece. He is renowned Japanese artist Tsuneo Sanda has been inspired by “Star Wars” since the original movie hit theaters in 1977. He is widely regarded as one of the top “Star Wars”-influenced artists around and has even been commissioned to create art for Lucasfilm. Brovo Mr. Sanda! Here is his original piece.

Toon-Bot Tank Comic

This was a comic written by my son Devin and his friend Ben. It was part of a program called TREPS where kids learn to create, market and sell a product. Devin wanted to make a comic for the project and he did pretty well with it! Devin wrote the story and put together the story board. I did the renders for him. It was a fun little project.

A good day for a run!

Today I thought it would be neat to bring my camera with me running, that way I can share all the beautiful sights I see while running in a small New England town. I had a nice and easy 5 mile run, at the end of it I went "off road" trail running, I manged to get a couple pictures of a few lady slippers in the woods. What an awesome spring day for a run! There are a bunch of pictures. Five miles worth. The first picture is my run mapped out. Thanks for looking!
